Could Not Install Esellerate Engine Hamsterball
Background:
I recently had to restore my PC to a Windows 7 System Image from 2012.
That worked OK, but Windows Update kept failing to install the hundreds of updates needed to bring it up to date.
So I upgraded to Windows 10 instead.
That worked fine and is what I am now using.
I thought I should create and run the Clean Install media in case I need it in the future. I created a DVD as I didn't have a 4GB USB to hand. Was able to boot from the DVD and started the Clean Install process but, after selecting the hard disk partition to use, I got the Windows Setup message 'could not reinitialise the deployment engine'.
I have no idea what this means and can only find some old references (Vista vintage) on the web.
Should I have clicked on 'Format' for the partition?
Thanks in advance.
The EWSEmbedded plugin that's part of the TSLicense component in Flip4Mac is causing random crashes with mdworker (the element of OS X that indexes content for Spotlight). This is under OS X 10.11.6 with Flip4Mac 3.3.7.3. I tried removing the TSLicense, EWSMac, and EWSMac-GC files as described on the Flip4Mac website and then restarted. Esellerateengine.dll - dll file called 'eSellerateEngine DLL' is a part of eSellerateEngine dynamic link library program developed by eSellerate Inc. Some applications or games may need this file to work properly. If esellerateengine.dll is missing, whenever you start the application/game you may experience various kinds of errors.
Hope you guys are doing well.
I purchased a Norton Internet Security when (expired) Windows Security Center started giving me warnings about viruses (this was right around the new year). I could not install it because my browsers could not connect to symantec.com. According to Norton support, this is a virus that is stops my machine from connecting to antivirus sites, and indeed I cannot connect to Trend or Norton. I tried AVG and Avira; both claimed to have removed viruses, but the problem remains. My PC has also become sluggish and hangs without much rhyme or reason, especially when connected to internet.
I tried to reimage (last and an unwelcome resort) but when I put my Dell CD, it said 'i386halaacpi.dll cannot be loaded; error code 47872.'
I'd appreciate any help or pointers. Please see my dds.txt below. I am also attaching attach.txt. Thanks for your time.
Best regards,
Samik
