But what happens if you have the best quality of electronics, or don’t use the objects enough for them to break? Then you will need to resort to breaking some items on your own, so that you can experience the repairman system in your game. Here’s what to do…

• Acquire the Tormentor Trait – The tormentor trait allows Sims to “Sabotage” anything and everything. Once you sabotage an item around the house, the next Sim to use it will definitely break it. This trait can only be acquired by completing the “Chief of Mischief” aspiration, and works best on lower quality appliances and electronics.

• Break Electronics with a Ghost – Sims that died by electrocution, when angry, have the “Possess to Break” interaction that allows them to break electronics.
