Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate Custom Quest Editor by dasding (self.MonsterHunterCustoms). But does anyone have the custom quest editor for Monster Hunter Tri (Wii)? Is it possible to create a 'custom guild quest' using this? I know the quests this editor makes goes under event quests, but can I just build a guild quest out of it and put it.

Monster Hunter Generations does not have levels, but they do have ranks. These determine with quests you can take, which also determines which monsters you can hunt for gear. If you want the best gear, you have to keep raising your HR (Hunter Rank) and take on the strongest monsters.

The the good news is you only need to do certain Required Quests to unlock the next rank. The bad news is the game does not tell you which ones you need. The great news is I will let you know everything in this guide!

How to Raise Hunter Rank

• You must complete specific HR quests at the Hunters Hub to unlock an Urgent Quest.
• When you complete the Urgent Quest, you move up to the rank I have listed next to it.

The game doesn't tell you which quests are needed and there are several extra quests you don't need to do. I'll list only the required and urgent quests for each rank.

I can't connect to the proxy:

• follow the instructions in this video

• double check every step you did

• make sure your firewall allows the editor to accept connections

• make sure your 3ds and your pc are on the same network

• make sure you only have one configured connection on your 3ds

• dont click too often on start/stop...

• try changing the port number to anything between 1024 and 65000

If all the above fails, try a program called 'connectify' (there's a free version). Some people reported that it solved their issues. I can't help you with 'connectify' though.

How do i delete the custom quests
Restricted IDs can be overwritten by the official DLCs (might be a JDLC). Unrestricted IDs can be overwritten by other CQs or can be removed by deleting the extra data of the game. This includes unregistered guildquests, friends guildcards, individual messages, streetpass inbox, armor and item sets. There is currently no known valid reason why you would ever do this.

I can't download the quest it's greyed out
You still can download them, just mark them with the A button and press X to download. Don't forget to say YES in the dialog asking you if you want to save them.

My quest says: 'invalid quest data':
Read the 'Important!'-Notice in red in the editor. Also don't try to place special tickets in the rewards, this will also cause invalid quest data!

Your editor does something WRONG!
Make sure it's really an error of my editor and not the game.
Send me the mib and an exact description of what you think is wrong.
I will ignore bug reports which only state 'hey i have problem, help'.

There is blackscreen when i start my quest:
Fatalis, Gogmazios, Ukanlos, etc.. all trigger a cutscene. Ways around it:

• place them in the second wave

• place them in the small monster list

• place them in the unstable monster list

The monster doesnt despawn:
All 3 Fatalis, Gogmazios and both Dalamadurs simply don't.
