What is LogiLDA.dll? The genuine LogiLDA.dll file is a software component of Logitech Download Assistant by Logitech. The Logitech Download Assistant runs during start-up to detect and download newly released Logitech updates. LogiLDA.dll is a file that belongs to Download Assistant. After some research, I found out the way to fix this problem. To resolve this problem, please follow these steps.
Method 1:
- Open Task Manager
- Go to the Startup tab and find LogiDA
- Right click on LogiDA and click on Disable
Now we have temporarily disabled the Logitech Download Assistant from starting with the computer. Now we have to delete the entry so we won’t be bothered with it again.
To do so:
- Press Win + R and type in REGEDIT
- Now we need to back up the registry. Follow this article on Backup and Restore Registry.
- Go to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESoftwareMicrosoftWindowsCurrentVersionRun key
- Find Logitech Download Assistant and delete the entry
- Now reboot the system for changes to take effect.
Method 2:
If you don’t want to go through the whole registry entry, then I’ll suggest a simpler way.
- Download CCleaner
- Now install CCleaner and open it
- Click on Tools –> Startup
- Now select Logitech Download Assistant from the list and click on Delete
This process is much simple and less complicated. Once you have done this, you need to reboot your computer to take effect.

This error occurs due to the incompatible version Logitech software, more specifically Logitech Download Assistant. This belongs to the Logitech mouse. Follow the steps below.
Method 1: Uninstall and Reinstall the Logitech Drivers from the manufacturer’s website.
Steps to uninstall the Logitech Drivers.
1.Press “Windows Logo” + “X” keys on the keyboard.
2.Click on “Device Manager” from that list.
3.Search for the Mice and other pointing devices from the device list, right click on it and then select “Uninstall”. On the un-installation window, if you have an option: “Delete the driver software for this device” you may select that and then remove the corrupted drivers from the computer.
4.Follow the on-screen instructions to complete it and then restart the computer if prompted.
5. Download the latest Graphics adapter driver setup file from the manufacturer’s website and install it.

- Open Task Manager by right click on the Taskbar.
- Go to the Startup tab and find LogiDA
- Right click on LogiDA and click on Disable
