Best Gun Star Wars Battlefront

At the time this article was written, Star Wars: Battlefront II was released mere hours before to the excitement of fans everywhere. Finally, Star Wars junkies could have their time in the sun. Everyone else was getting their shooter franchise, and it was now the galaxy’s turn. Star Wars: Battlefront II is a follow up to the successful title that was released a couple of years ago. The idea seemed like the smartest one ever: take the best heroes and pit them against the most vicious villains of the franchise in a Deathmatch style battle. However, the first title lacked a sufficient story mode, so Battlefront II sought to change that. This title will feature a story that bridges the gap between the events of Return of the Jedi and The Force Awakens. Even more exciting, the story will officially be recognized as canon by Lucasfilm.

For the weapons in DICE's Star Wars Battlefront series, see Category:Weapons in Star Wars Battlefront (DICE) and Category:Weapons in Star Wars Battlefront II (DICE). Imperial Scout Trooper using a DC-15x Sniper Rifle. The following are weapons found in Pandemic's and Rebellion's Star Wars: Battlefront games.

While there has been immense excitement about Battlefront II, the game has not been without its controversy. A couple of weeks ago, fans expressed their outrage at Electronic Arts (EA) making popular characters like Luke Skywalker, Darth Vader, Princess Leia, and others locked. To be unlocked, players would have to purchase them or play enough matches to raise the credits to get them in-game. EA has remedied the issue, but many gamers still feel slighted. Even though that is the case, many are still going to enter the Galaxy Far Far Away, and we want to give some insight on weapons you want to check out (and avoid) for the best multiplayer experience. Here are eight of the best items in the game, and seven of the worst.

15 Best: Blast Enemies From Locations Far Far Away

You round the corner of some insane intergalactic palace to bump into a Stormtrooper who might actually have some decent aim. How do you strike first, and ensure that this minion of the Republic is blasted into scum? Check out the E-5 Blaster for some help with this. The E-5 Blaster is a blaster rifle. This thing packs a huge punch from a considerable range, and in Battlefront II multiplayer, being able to take care of enemies from far away is critical because the layouts make it easy for people to sneak up on you. With good aim, players can take out enemies in two to three good hits. The cooldown on this thing also seems to be pretty good, so players won’t have to worry about constantly stopping to allow the weapon to cool off.

14 Worst: Too Much Heat In The Kitchen For This Gun

The Valken-38X is a targeting rifle for the Specialist Class in the game. This gun does a high amount of damage and has a decent range, but if you are going to be jumping into multiplayer matches, it would be nice to have a nice cooldown rate to go alongside these stats. It is a rifle so it is understandable that the rate of fire would be low, but to make up for that the cooling power should be higher to account for this. The cooling power does not allow for enough shots before a momentary break is needed to recharge the gun. In a multiplayer situation, this may not be the best weapon to use. Unless you know you can take out multiple enemies with one shot, skip this one.

13 Best: A Truly Cold-Blooded Gun

Okay, so because of these microtransaction issues EA is having with this game, you will probably have to play as an ordinary Stormtrooper in multiplayer situations. The reality of that is horrifying…ugh. However, all hope is not lost, Battlefront II has some weapons to overcome that awful aiming history of the Troopers. The DC-15A is a standard issue blaster, and while in the in-game menus it is portrayed as an average gun, in Beta playthroughs this thing does a lot of damage. It also seemingly goes on forever without needing a cooling period, and will genuinely blast away the competition. In this video, the player is able to take down an enemy that is located on a staircase on the other side of the room.

12 Worst: DC-15 Is A Little Too Heavy

Alright, so the DC-15A turns most enemies into scum, but its cousin, The DC-15 is not as useful. This weapon is billed as a heavy blaster that exchanges accuracy for power in the Heavy Class, and it shows. In a YouTube playthrough it is evident that this gun is shooting all over the place. It does take out enemies, but its cumbersome nature prevents it from being quick and accurate. With the right play style this gun could be useful, but it is hard to imagine it really making a difference in fast-paced multiplayer situations. The speed of Battlefront II is a factor in how individuals should approach this game. Unless you are a heavy artillery master that knows where to place yourself, pass on this one.

11 Best: They Will Never See It Coming With This Assault Rifle

There are times where your team is in a bind, and you need a weapon that is going to come through in the clutch. You will need something that can tip the scales in your favor and will catch the other side off-guard. Allow us to introduce the EL-16. This weapon is an assault rifle that can take over a game in either close or long-range situations. Players can take out enemies with one shot (if they are close enough) or three to four at long range. The cooling power also seems reasonable. The aiming scope on this weapon also allows for a good view of long-range shots which makes picking off enemies from far away even more accessible. If you are in the Assault Class, definitely check this one out.

10 Worst: The Force Is Not With This One

You always find that gun this is supposed to be a showstopper, one that should be a game changer. However, it does not live up to the expectation. This is the case with the F11-D. While the F11-D is decent, it takes way too much time to deal considerable damage to enemies unless you are right up to them. Even though Battlefront II has classes that players can specialize in, it is always ideal to have a weapon that has the capability to be successful in a variety of situations. This gun is alright for close range one-on-one battles, but it is not suitable for a player that likes to utilize a variety of different play styles. If you are a renaissance player that wants to have a gun that takes care of enemies near and far, this is not the gun for you.

9 Best: The One- Hit Wonder

In most settings, the term “One-Hit Wonder” is an insult. It typically chronicles the failed attempts at fame of a washed-up celebrity. However, in this case, it is the perfect name for this weapon. The Vanguard is a mini shotgun, and boy is this thing amazing. It takes out close range enemies with one hit, and can even reach other enemies in mid-range situations. There is no escaping the destruction of this thing. Honestly, when you hear mini-shotgun, what comes to mind? It should be awesomeness! This is a hand cannon that packs a lot of punch in a compact size. It is a must-have in multiplayer. This might end up being an overpowered gun due to its sheer power. So, jump on the bandwagon before anyone else does and get this gun!

Star Wars Blaster Rifles

8 Worst: Another Average Piece Of The Phantom Menace

The CR-2 is a blaster with only one thing going for it: a considerable fire rate. Other than that, there is nothing remarkable about this gun. What good is rainfall of ammo on enemies, if it barely does any damage? It does not pack enough power to get in a shoot-out with someone, and definitely will not get a player out of an overwhelming situation due to its low damage rate. So, the only thing you will be doing a lot of with this gun is retreating. You will have to stay close to your team (which you should do anyway), but instead of it being a choice it will be a necessity. Of course, this one came from one of the most average movies in the Star Wars mythos.

7 Best: Be A Headshot Master With This Gun

Best

The A280 CFE is a sniper rifle for the Specialist class; If you are obsessed with headshots and taking players out with razor-sharp precision than this is the gun for you. Players can have their cake and eat it too with this weapon with damage and accuracy matching up nicely. As always, an excellent sniper rifle needs to destroy the other player in at least two hits or less at a decent range, and this gun delivers that. However, to add to the excellence of the A280 CFE, it has a perk that allows players to choose an attachment that either enables more powerful bursts or a higher chance of a single headshot. Both make this gun dangerous, and worth adding to a weapon rotation list.

6 Worst: The M-45 Just Will Not Get It Done

We promise we are not picking on the Heavy class. There are definitely some benefits to playing in this class, but some of the weapons make actively participating in multiplayer situations a little tricky. The M-45 is a heavy blaster. Quite frankly, this thing is awful concerning accuracy and damage. Even in close range, this gun will not finish the job on an enemy. To top it all off, the time needed for this weapon to cool off leaves more than to be desired. All of these are a recipe for getting dragged by the other team. Your frustration with this thing might cause a controller throw or two, so save your television screen and pick another gun. Your family and friends will appreciate it.

5 Best: Stay Cool With The FWMB-10K

Finally, a win for the heavy class! This gun is like the galaxy’s equivalent to a “Tommy Gun.” It is all about force, power, and damage. Whether you are up close or far away, it will be hard for the competition to escape the destruction of this weapon. One of the coolest modifications for this gun is automatic cooling which takes the temperature of the weapon down the second the trigger is pulled. Therefore, the FWMB-10K can be used for long periods of time without a slow down. Perfect for you, but terrible news for enemies. Its power and range is nothing to be played with, so suit up and get ready for mayhem with the FWMB-10K. If you are on the receiving end of this gun, just accept your fate then and there.

4 Worst: Take A Chill Pill On The Sentry

This gun is powerful, there is no denying this fact, but it seems to be too heavy for players to be flexible enough to move around. There are two main problems with this gun. First, its design and power should make it perfect for long-range attacks. Second, the gun’s size almost makes players stationary. This is a cry to die in multiplayer. Some playthroughs show players killing enemies with this weapon with other teammates surrounding them for protection. In an ideal world, this could easily happen in every match, but doing this is just not realistic. So, unless your team is perfectly in sync and can group up at any moment’s notice to help you wield this gun, we would suggest looking into something else.

3 Best: Take Out Rows Of Stormtroopers

The GLIE-44 is a blaster pistol that packs power and range to obliterate rows of enemies even at long-range. In case you care about Star Wars history, this gun has been used by the likes of, General Leia Organa and Poe Dameron. It is a staple weapon of the Resistance Fighters, and if you are sentimental about walking in the footsteps of the rebels, then this gun will fulfill that desire. However, it is not only useful for a history lesson; there is a reason Leia used this thing so much. It can take out numerous enemies in mid to long-range situations. Most pistols show their strength in close-range battle, but this one will give you options. Make Ms. Organa proud and turn those Troopers into dust.

Best

2 Worst: How Dull….

All weapons cannot be as rad or exciting as the GLIE-44 or Vanguard Mini Shot Gun. Some are just plain boring. They aren’t necessarily the most awful thing around, but they don’t have the capability to take a game over either. This applied to the RG-4D. It is a blaster pistol for the Officer class and is just an average weapon all the way around. It takes too long to take out enemies due to low damage, and the range is not that great either. Hey! We are in a battle for the fate of the galaxy. We cannot afford to have average guns that don’t finish the job. So unless you want to become “Rebel Scum,” we suggest looking into the GLIE-44 instead for your loyal officer.

1 Make Others Feel The Burn With The Blurrg

With a name like Blurgg, the expectation would be that it would cause damage as ugly as its name. This weapon is a small hold-out blaster for the officer class and is named for some weird creature on the planet Ryloth. We are not sure if the name has anything to do with how good this gun is, but it sure doesn’t hurt. Even though the in-game menus show that this weapon has low damage and range, playthroughs tell a different story. The power and damage are impeccable at mid to long range situations, and it is likely a two to three shot kill in the right position. This gun is seriously small, but the trend seems to be in this game that the smallest weapons pack the most punch.

I am using EE-3 pretty much all the time currently.

Honestly It really depends on your game style IMHO. As a Standard Infantryman on Big wide open WA Maps (Junland, Hoth) I like the EE-1 A280C depends on my mood Both Great. For Endor the trees get in the way for Distance but I go the EE-3 or 4 there especially the Endor on Fire one EE-4). Soros is whatever. The Heavy repeater is fun there, I can drop the secondary fire on a few heads, or ee-4 depends again Close combat or medium . The Dl-17 is fun, Each gun has its good points.
For H vs V or some Bespin it is the EE-1 or A280C W/ES. For Sabotage close in it is ee-4.
I foucus on Objectives and Often see what is needed or listen to someone say what they need. I also have Quite a few headshots with the DLT19X Again I snipe, I melee , I focus on Objectives, I do what I am asked to do. I was a Healer dropping MEds and Bacta on everyone with the EE-3. If team leader wants me to I just have Fun with it. They also has ask me to snipe. Ill be in the tower above you. Only Gun I dont use is CA87. My Fav is the Cycler Rifle but I have Love affair with it for a while. More than Pulse.
I recommend play them all and Find out WHICH IS MOST FUN to You. Sneaking around a corner and Taking someone out is great, Melee from Behind fun. Head Shot from Other side of a huge map is Awesome. Just have fun.
    Also I only play PS4

Assume two equal players/Lag-hit detection then If you are always close up a pistol is going to win a 1 on 1 ( Just about ) In reality you should try to improve your chances relying not just on fire power but movement, cover and timing and a first ADS assisted head/upper body shot is your winning moment .
IMO the best all round weapon is E11 fired right ... is top tool open to all!

I guess it depends on the place..

as mentioned it depends on what you are playing and how you play.
I play Walker Assault about 80-90% of the time. I am a heavy objective player, and that means attacking/defending uplinks. I like something with short to medium range. I love the Relby V10. There is no drop off for those long shots and you can be deadly from far away, yet powerful for close range. 2 downsides. Rate of fire. I have found if I have to take on multiple enemies, I will lose because it just does not fire as fast. Second issue is sometimes I am just off on my timing. It really requires practice to get the timing down for firing at optimal rate.
So sometimes, I will switch it over to the E-11. Good overall gun. Full auto, so you can take on multiple enemies in a more efficient manner, pair it with cooling cell and watch out!
On the few times I play with friends in a party I switch over to the DH-17 or the EE-4. They love Death Star so it is all CQC.
I say, figure out what your playing style is. If it is run and gun, you might opt for a full auto. If you play back a little (not sniping) I say give the Relby a try. But the gun you perform the best with is the best choice for you. Some people love the EE-3, but I am just not very good with it, so it does not work for me.
have fun while figuring it out, and do not try a gun for a round or too then give up. It took me a while before I fell in love with the Relby

Honestly I think the best all rounder is still the A280-C.

As others have said, it all depends on your style, the mode, and the map...as well as what trait you pair the weapons with. They all can be deadly in the right hands.
If you look at the specs on all of the primary weapons, then the most balanced weapon is the 280. Next closest is E-11, you sacrifice a little bit of fire rate for increased damage.
After those it all spreads out for damage, range, spread, fire rate, and secondary abilities (Bryar & TL-50 secondary fire, infrared for X-8, & even CA-87 w/focus fire into a long range shotgun).
I'm best with blaster rifles (5k-22k with each) overall. I've put enough effort into the other categories that I have at least 1k kills with all but 3 primary blasters (<150 total with TL-50 & Bryar because I'm not good at hip fire. Sitting around 500 with A-180 and still playing with it randomly).
For the other categories my favorites are:
Pistols - X-8 Night Sniper has recently become my go to. Although I currently have more kills with the DH-17, I rarely have used it in over a year.
Heavy Blasters - Not my favorite class...T-21 or RT-97 are what I grab.
Shock Blaster - well there's only the 1 (although Slug Thrower counts towards challenges)
Targeting Rifle - Relby hands down. I have developed a joy of OHK with the DLT-19X of late. (Bo Rifle note - if you look at the ratings, it should be slightly slower firing, but deal more damage than the Relby. This is not the case. In actual use it fires slower and deals less damage than the Relby. Trade off is the OHK melee.)
Yes, play! Yes, a gamer's strength flows from adjustment. But beware of the nerf side...not adapting your tactics, stubbornness, wanting the game catered to you; the nerf side of gaming are they. Easily they flow, quick to join you in a death & respawn. If once you start down the nerf path, forever will it dominate your destiny, consume you it will, as it did many an apprentice.

Depends on play style as well as map and game mode. Overall I prefer pistols, SE-14 especially, or heavy blasters for larger open game modes.

A280C is best all rounder I think. I like the EE3 and TL-50 as well.

EE-3 is my goto weapon. But i also sometimes use the DT-12 or the DL-18. With the EE-3 in CQB you only need two well placed bursts and the enemies will drop like flies. And it's accuracy at distance is acceptable. The DT-12 needs 3-4 shots and is quite lethal too. But it's nearly useless at distance thanks to its rapid damage drop off. The DL-18 is also pretty good, 4 shots in CQB with a really good RPM as well as cooling rate. And i sometimes use the Relby because it's pretty much a DL-18 but with better ranged capabilities.

I have slowly migrated to EE-3. I mainly play Cargo, but sometimes Blast or WA, and it works in pretty much all situations.
I will say that in 1v1 situations close up, I will get my **** handed to me by other guns occasionally, as the amount of damage other guns do in very close quarters beats the EE-3.
But that is also on me for getting into that sort of situation, and the EE-3 is just so good at mid and long range that I don't want to switch away from it just for those occasions. Instead, I check my radar and try to make sure I have distance and cover.
All that being said, the EE-3 takes some getting used to in terms of trigger rhythm and leading your target, so be prepared to suck with it for a little while. But if you stick it out, you should be fine.
